An introduction to G&W Planet May,2010
The core • The essential issue of the cellular radio network optimization/trouble shooting is about the coverage ,frequency and handover performance.
Our Vision • Our product is devised to help field engineer on radio network plan/trouble shooting with an high performance and concise visual toolsets, which will greatly boost the production and efficiency. • On current phase, the G&W Planet mainly focus on the on daily frequency plan routine or field trouble shooting tasks.
How it works • Working with common GSM radio network parameters, which is equipment/vendor independent. • Visualization of entire radio network coverage plan on various layers based on coverage type and frequency bands, with GIS feature enabled. • Three basic cell search function/combination: • Based on CGI search • Based on ARFCN search • Based on BSIC search • Based on ARFCN&BSIC search
How it works • Co/Adjacent radio frequency visualization function. • Candidate frequency suggestion with Co/Adjacent Joint interference algorithm. • Working journal export. • Dynamic Site/Cell addition. • Dynamic Neighbor addition/deletion.
Demo • Common GSM radio network parameters import and user defined parameters import. • G&W Planet can import network configuration data from stander plain text file, like *.csv/*.tab/*.txt etc. • The column name of header is not fixed, means with proper configuration the G&W Planet can extract any table based data into the system.
Demo • Layered cellular coverage visualization based on coverage type and frequency bands. • Coverage type • Macro Cell coverage • Logical Cell coverage • Distribute system (Micro Cell) coverage: Indoor and outdoor • Frequency type • PGSM/EGSM • DCS1800 • Each combination of different coverage/frequency type has standalone visible cell layers, with full control of the cell render color, visibility and layer display order.
