  22. Preparing for a New Event –Duplicating a Record • Duplicating an IEP allows the user to edit previous information entered into a record. • Duplicating an IEP transfers Eligibility information with each IEP. Student Record -Opening Page

  23. Steps for Duplicating IEP • Select: Duplicate IEP • Select the IEP to duplicate: Most likely this record will be marked “current” • Select New Meeting Type: (Remember you can always change the type and date.) • Enter new date • Click Duplicate • Click Ok Student Record -Opening Page

  24. Changing Date and Type • Select: Edit Date/Type • Enter New Date, if necessary • Enter New Meeting Type, if necessary • Click: Submit Student Record -Opening Page

  29. Conference Summary Report“Signature Page” • There is now only one signature page for everything that is done in the meeting. • Reevaluations, Manifestation Determination, etc. • Whatever is done at the meeting, there will only be one signature page generated. Conference Summary Report

When do I print the Conference Summary Report? • You can come to the meeting with this “signature page” already printed, HOWEVER • Make sure you have checked all the information for accuracy • Reevaluations – There may be a change in the disability diagnosis, therefore, you may not be able to print and sign until the team has made a disability determination Conference Summary Report

Academic Achievement • Documentation should reflect the results of the most recent evaluation, but should not be a restatement of the evaluation results documented in the eligibility report. • For preschoolers, performance levels may include pre-academic readiness skills and developmentally appropriate cognitive skills. Functional Performance • Functional performance is related to activities associated with daily living. • This information should be stated in clear, concrete terms understandable to all IEP team participants. • Again, documentation should reflect the results of the most recent evaluation. • For students 14 ½ and older, describe student strengths and weakness within the context of his/her post-school goals.
