  2. How Big Is Your God? • Many have made God in their own image (Psa. 50:21; Acts 17:23) • What is your concept of God? What is your view or understanding of God? • Your concept of God will determine how you live

  3. Psalm 139 • God is all-knowing (omniscient): verses 1-16 (1 Sam. 2:3; Rom. 11:33-36) • God is all-present (omnipresent): verses 7-12 (Acts 17:28; Hebrews 4:12-14) • God is all-powerful (omnipotent): verses 13-18 (Ephesians 3:20) • God is all-holy: verses 19-22 (Revelation 4:8)

  4. God’s Search Warrant • God is all-knowing (omniscient): we cannot mislead him (Acts 5:4) • God is all-present (omnipresent): we cannot escape him (Gen. 3:8) • God is all-powerful (omnipotent): we cannot oppose him (Ex. 5:2; 7:1 – 12:51) • God is all-holy: we cannot ignore him (Jude 14-15)

  5. God’s Search Warrant • What is your response to God? • Is it “wonder” (verse 6,14)? • Is it “thanks” (verse 14)? • Is it “precious” (verse 17)? • Is it “perfect hatred” [toward sin] (verse 21-22)? • Is it “search me” (verse 23-24)?
