Effects of IFN-γ and MIBG on Caspase-3 Activity in STC-1 Cells
This study investigates the impact of interferon gamma (IFN-γ) and the MIBG compound on caspase-3 activity in STC-1 cells. Variations in IFN-γ concentrations (10, 50, 100 U/ml) and MIBG concentrations (1, 10, 20 µM) were tested to assess their effects on apoptosis, as indicated by changes in caspase-3 activity. The results show potential interactions between IFN-γ and MIBG that may influence cell survival and apoptosis. Understanding these mechanisms is crucial for therapeutic applications involving apoptosis regulation.
