  3. Program Design • C.L.O.U.D.S. is an inclusive program with classroom settings comprised of Special Education and General Education students. • Differentiated instruction to meet individual needs. • Multidisciplinary approach for assessment and intervention.

  4. Hours of Operation Tuesday-Friday 7:45 am - 10:45 am and 11:25 am – 2:25 pm

  5. Curriculum • World of Wonders includes cross-curricular activities, focus on socio-emotional development, and preparation for kindergarten and beyond. • Ready, S.E.T., GO! • Handwriting Without Tears

  6. Importance of Parental Involvement • Home and school are the young child’s two most important worlds. Children must bridge these two worlds everyday. If home and school are connected in positive and respectful ways, children feel secure. -Creative Curriculum for Preschool • Ways to be Involved: • Volunteer Opportunities • WatchDOG (Dads & Granddads) • PTA • Parent-Teacher Conferences • Classroom Observation Policy

  7. Policies and Procedures • All policies and procedures have been developed to ensure student safety and to promote a positive, encouraging, and comfortable learning environment. • Please refer to the Parent Handbook and Board Policy for more detailed information.

Drop-off and Pick-Up • AM Gates Open:PM Gates Open: • Drop-off: 7:35-7:45 AM11:15-11:25 AM • Pick-Up:10:35-10:50 AM 2:15 – 2:30 PM • Temporary parking in north elbow (see below) & five visitor spaces in main lot. •  Parking at the church or along Etiwanda Ave. • Etiwanda Ave north drive-way • is EXIT only.

  9. Drop-off and Pick-Up Procedures • Say goodbyes at the door • Sign in and out of book • Must be 18 to sign-out • We do check emergency cards and ID (keep up to date with office) *Please Refrain From Cell Phone Use While On Campus – Thank You

  12. Secure Campus Policy • All Visitors & Volunteers must check in/check out through the office. • Lobbyguard System – Background Checks & Badges Instantly Created • Visitors & Volunteers Wear Lanyard +Badge • All Gates Remain Shut and Locked • 35 Security Cameras Monitor Campus

What to Bring  Backpack (to be hung up on hook) • Change of clothes (or two, to match weather) in the backpack • Share toys only on assigned day • Please label all items (backpacks, share toys, sweaters, jackets, etc) with names • What NOT to Bring • Toys from home (unless it is an assigned share day)

  14. What to Wear • Safe shoes • Closed-toe shoes are safest • Play clothes preschool is FUN and often MESSY!

  15. Keep them home if: • Please keep sick ones at home • What is sick? • Fever, vomiting, rash, coughing, excessive nasal discharge, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, parasites, etc. • See Parent Handbook • Teach how to wash hands well and to cover mouth when sneezing/coughing. • Don’t forget to call absence line.
