  1. CDS Gates ProposalOverview Each of the four entrance gates will be equipped with a gate arm and swing gate that will enhance access control, visitor access management and convenience to residents. Careful consideration has been directed to traffic flow and remains a focal point. The automated gates will serve to pass the same vehicle flow rates as they do with gate attendants.

Gate #1 will continue to be manned 24/7. • Gates #2 and #3 will be unmanned fully automated using a transponder 24/7 access • Gate #4 will be manned Monday through Friday from 6:00a.m until 2:00 PM to allow the entry of contractors and delivery vehicles and then will be put on Automatic Operation • After 2:00 PM Monday through Friday all visitors will be required to enter through Gate #1. • On Saturday and Sunday all visitors will be required to enter through Gate #1 • All Gates may be manned to accommodate Special Events Access

The vehicle transponder system is designed with state of the art electronic readers positioned at each gate to read transponders from a transponder equipped vehicle in all inbound lanes of traffic. • The transponder system will open the barrier arm and then the swing gate for all registeredvehicles. • To prevent tailgating the barrier arm will close immediately after a vehicle has cleared the barrier arm identification system. • A non-transponder equipped vehicle will not activate the system Method of Operation

On the date of: ???? • Each Casta del Sol registered vehicle will be issued an active Rfid transponder containing vehicle, and resident information specific to the community • Upon request Casta residents may be issued a key Fob programmed to the same particular resident information that will allow ingress and egress through all pedestrian gates Implementation
