RT09 • RT09 in Beijing was a big success • 42 new recruitments (24% renewed), thanks to Albe Larson • Books are almost closed (only “proof of bank closure” document is missing), surplus was ~12% • Special Issue of IEEE TNS for RT2009 • Review Process just completed • Senior Editor: Sascha Schmeling • Associate Editors: Christian Bohm, Günter Eckerlin, Réjean Fontaine, Wolfgang Kühn, Niko Neufeld, Volker Schmidt • 51 out of 69 papers accepted for publication from Astrophysics, Medical Imaging, Nuclear and Plasma Physics, Particle Accelerators and Particle Physics Experiments • Some rejected papers suggested to other IEEE journals, others will be re-submitted NPSS AdCom, Monterey

RT10 Program Details • Expect heavy contribution of Real Time Aspects in Fusion and Plasma Physics • xTCA Workshop May 22nd/23rd (Ray Larson) • Short courses on May 23rd • Digital Pulse Processing (CAEN with demonstration) • GPU Programming with demonstration (Martin Purschke) • Industrial/Institutional Exhibit • Plan of 6-5 invited overview talks for opening sessions: xTCA, FPGA Programming, Triggering, Fusion, Astro-particle Physics, Real Time in Medicine • All-plenary talks • “Mini-Orals”: Poster presenters can opt to give a 3-minute presentation before their corresponding poster session • 4 Student Awards (4 IEEE certificates, 2 x 500$) • CANPS Award: will be decided in the next days • Social Events: Reception, Dinner, ½ day Excursion NPSS AdCom, Monterey

  6. RT12 • Follow our tradition US – Europe – Asia  RT12 should go to US • Current plan: Bay Area (Berkeley) • Keep the participation from Asia and the Fusion Community • RT14 in Asia NPSS AdCom, Monterey
