  3. DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP • Digital Citizenship is a concept which helps teachers, technology leaders and parents understand what students, children, & technology users should know to use technology appropriately.

Social networking sites such as Facebook™ and MySpace™ have become very popular among students as well as adults.  These sites allow users to communicate and share information.  These sites can be accessed anywhere there is an Internet connection including Smartphones.  All users need to be aware of the information that is shared on these sites to protect their identity as well as friends.   8. Social networking • CES policy says that devices are for educational use. Students may not play games, text, or access any social networks while at school. Violations of these procedures will result in loss of use.

  9. Cyber bulling • Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place using electronic technology. Electronic technology includes devices and equipment such as cell phones, computers, and tablets as well as communication tools including social media sites, text messages, chat, and websites.
