To get Customers • Allowing taxi drivers a test period in which to use the service free of charge. • Getting on the streets and showing persons offerings the system to commuters • Give out mass flyers(Taxi Drivers to their Travelers)
Hypothesis: What we thought • Incentives were needed for both taxi drivers and for customers • Making loyalty system would keep our customers. • Our best way of cheap marketing is using the taxi drivers to market the service. The more they market the better the chances of them getting a call. • Discounts will encourage persons to travel, so putting discounts on group travel, will encourage people to travel as groups. This would bring down individual cost and give them a discount. • Giving more discounting incentives to the travelers would get them to travel more, therefore encouraging the taxi drivers in using the system.
Experiments: What we did Present a loyalty system to both customers, drivers and commuters. And come up with an idea that would give both of them the discounts they want and get them to bring in more customers at the same time.
Results: What we found Taxi Drivers 82% of Taxi drivers agreed to having discounts on membership as an adequate incentive to give discounts to commuters. 18% of Taxi drivers suggested to have free membership when they give a certain amount of discount for the month. Commuters 78% of our travelling customers agreed to use the system because of the incentives given to them for travelling. This is exceptional, this means that incentives would bring commuters to the taxi drivers to encourage them to use the service. 22% of out travelers preferred to use the transportation system they are accustom to.
