Mark Hankins Iowa All-State in Football

Currently working as the Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Iowa, Mark Hankins is more often known for his play on the golf course than anything else. However, this avid sports player has more talent than just with a golf club. He also played football in high school. In 1988, Mark Hankins was experienced a considerably successful year as a football player, and was named All-State in the sport.

Mark Hankins lowa All-State in Football Currently working as the Assistant Athletic Director at the University of Iowa, Mark Hankins is more often known for his play on the golf course than anything else. However, this avid sports player has more talent than just with a golf club. He also played football in high school. In 1988, Mark Hankins was experienced a considerably successful year as a football player, and was named All-State in the sport.

  2. Mark Hankins Iowa Professional Golfer A professional golfer, Mark Hankins is a member of PGA. The native Iowa resident has been the assistant golf pro at numerous country clubs, and has made a huge mark as a golf coach at a variety of NCAA Division I universities. When coaching for Michigan State, Mark Hankins was named the Big Ten Coach of the Year twice. A successful golf coach, Hankins is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for the University of Iowa.

  3. Mark Hankins Iowa Setting a Standard When Mark Hankins joined the University of Iowa men’s golf program as the head coach in 2007, the team was experiencing a considerable level of struggle. Through the solid development of the team’s players, and skilled coaching and instruction, Hankins was able to bring to the team to its highest level of success yet; a 10th place finish in the NCAA championship. This set a new standard of success for the team, as well as any player who would continue to play golf at the University of Iowa.

Mark Hankins Iowa Bringing Success to Many Sports Programs After becoming the head coach of the University of Iowa’s men’s golf program in 2007, Mark Hankins was able to turn the team into a resounding success. Under the direction of their coach, the men’s golf team would make the NCAA postseason six seasons in a row. The coach is now moving away from his coaching duties and into the position of Assistant Athletic Director, all with hope of bringing success to all of the sports programs of the University of Iowa.
