If you have need to verify your credentials, please contact your Chapter membership chair.

  3. Home page main menu is structured the same… Log in here. Using your SIMnet.org user ID and password Potential new members can select here to apply. View the entire Calendar

  4. After you log in, manage all your personal settings under “Manage Profile “Membership Info” will show your membership status and let you pay your renewal dues when it’s time.

  5. This is my Profile Home page which is where I land when I log in. The first time you log in, you may be asked to set your Preferences . My Feeds : Contains info from Group Walls and personal Connections. Explore these too…Create personal web pages, post pictures, create a personal blog, upload files and links. My Wall : Post personal activity, thoughts, or anything on your mind. My Bio: Access your Bio and update if it’s yours. Upload your Profile photo here

  6. Manage Profile Page. A lot of new functions to explore here… Set Preferences for receiving email notifications when new events are added, when you get a message, when other group members make updates, etc. Update your personal Bio This is all your own personal web space to use as you like. It’s viewable only to other SIM members.

  7. More…Manage Profile Page Chapters , APC, and SIM Communities all have their own Group. Subscriptions allow you to subscribe to forums and blogs to get emails when additions are changes are made. If you subscribe, you won’t have to log on to the site to know when something new is there. View your membership status and pay your renewal dues when it’s time.

  8. My Groups page If you want to get a periodic email with a summary of new happenings in your Groups, just “Enable Group Digest Newsletters”. If you don’t like it, then you can always turn it off. (Manage Profile – Preferences) These are my 3 Groups. Select a Group to see it’s content.

  9. Sandbox Chapter Group Home Page This is the Home Page for this Chapter. The Chapter also has a Wall for posting notices (Similar to Facebook). Content in the Group is only accessible by the Group members.

  10. Sandbox Chapter Home Page The Group may have any number of web pages. This link will give you access to the Group Calendar, Forums, Directory, Blogs. The Group Calendar is also accessible from the Home Page. View the whole month too… This is the Group Blog. Any Group member can post to it. You can also Subscribe to the Blog to receive an email when there are updates.

  11. Sandbox Chapter Group Blog page RSS feeds allow participants to use any RSS Reader (including Outlook) to get updates to this area. Some people prefer this vs. getting lots of email. Subscribe or Unsubscribe to the Blog. Voting is an option. Any Group Member can Post to the Blog and Comment on anyone else’s Post.

  12. Sandbox Chapter Group Calendar page Several ways to view the Calendar. Easy way to export the calendar entry to your personal calendar via iCalendar entry (.ics) Registration Link will also appear here if registration is allowed.

  13. Sandbox Chapter Group page Group members can send Messages or Emails to all group members here (if the Group Manager allows it). Also subscribe to the Group Newsletter if you like.

  14. Directory Member Search Lots of ways to search for members.

  15. Directory Member Search Results Allows Messaging any member and adding Connections.
