At the end of each dialogue, a question will be asked about what was said. Listen carefully and choose A, B, C or D for the best answer to the question you’ve heard. Both the dialogues and the questions will be spoken only once.

  4. 1.A: Excuse me. I’m looking for the Swimming Center. • Can you show me the way? • B: I’m afraid I can’t help you. I’m a stranger • here myself. • Q: What does the woman mean? • A: D. She doesn’t know the way • to the Swimming Center.
