  7. National Center for Education Achievement (NCEA) • Pottsville Elementary recognized as a 2011 NCEA Higher Performing School in Mathematics • Based on high number of advanced scores in Benchmark. • 2012 Higher Performing School in All Subjects

  21. What Now? Major focus on our TAGG group. Particularly Students with disabilities. Includes students receiving speech therapy. Providing early intervention and remediation. Ensure rigorous curriculum. 94% Prof/Adv meets AMO

  24. Other Factors Affecting AMO Performance Pottsville Elementary tests a different cohort of students each year. Difficult to compare students (scores could go up or down) High scores are an indication of instruction and curriculum. PES does not qualify for growth performance.
