  2. ENROLMENT UPDATE May 2 2018 Summary Winter 2018 Enrolment update Feb 1st Equal Consideration • Sheridan has received applications for the 18/19 cycle since October 2017 . Offers of admission have been issued beginning February 1, 2018. Confirmation of the first and second round offers is due May 1, 2018. Fee payment deadline for new students is June 13, 2018. Joint Reporting Updates are posted on RegNet each Tuesday. • Overall we are projecting that enrolment will have a shortfall for new intakes in Spring and Fall 2018. Please review the following slides for system comparison, and programs which we are closely and identifying shortfall and growth.

Feb 1st Equal Consideration Date International 1189 Application Growth • Students from India applying earlier and in greater volume • Changes in visa rules, and awareness of Ontario college capacity constraints has created rush to apply • Other Ontario colleges, especially those in GTA, are experiencing the same phenomenon • Continuing to prioritize diversity • Conservative in FAST (esp. DAV), more aggressive in PSB (esp. HMC) • Predicting yield is more challenging, though we expect it to grow • Prioritizing applications from China and smaller markets, and applications from India that meet both admissions requirements and SDS requirements • 50 Business Diploma seats moved from Davis to HMC to help support enrolment diversity
