BLIP/TPL, this week and next week

This week involves the ongoing processing of Sr-82 in TPL, with RbCl successfully removed from the beam on April 21. We continue the 116 MeV irradiation of RbCl targets initiated on April 22. Looking ahead to next week, on April 5, we plan to remove the RbCl targets and retune the LINAC to 160 MeV for 17 hours for thorium irradiation, as part of R&D for Ac-225 medical isotopes. On April 6, thoria will be removed and RbCl reinserted, with LINAC retuned to 116 MeV thereafter.
