  4. Human & Physical Features Did you know that Sudan has 3 passenger cars for every 1,000 people? First of all, Sudan’s population is 36,900,000, which isn’t good compared to the U.S. In case you were wondering the U.S has a population of 299,846,000. Also, Sudan’s life expectancy is 58.6, while the U.S is 78.2. As a result, there is a pretty big difference in life expectancies. The U.S has a birth rate of 14.0, and Sudan has a birth rate of 31.5. Sudan is birthrate is somewhat worse because sometimes you don’t a high birth rate.What really surprised me though, was that there are 22 doctors per thousand people in Sudan, and 256 doctors per 100,000 people. In conclusion, I think Sudan is not as great as the U.S’s country.

  5. Flag Did you know that Sudan adopted it’s flag on May 20, 1970. First of all, there are 4 colors on the Sudanian flag. The colors are red, white, black, and green. The red stripe means sacrifice, and the white stripe represents peace, light, and optimism. Also, the black stripe represents Sudan, and the green stripe represents Islam and agriculture.Sudan gained independence from Egypt and great Britain. In conclusion, Sudan’s flag is very interesting! It has so many meanings and symbols. Amazing!

  6. Government • Sudan’s government type is Federal Republic ruled by the National Congress Party • The country Sudan has 17 states. • Independence day is January 1, 1956. (New Years) • The National Holiday for Sudan is also Independence day. • The Constitution for Sudan was signed in 1998.

  7. Religion Did you know, that the dominant religion in Sudan is Islam? First of all, there is also a small minority population of both Christianity, and an African Traditional religion. Also, the holy book for Muslims is the Qur’an. The holy book for Christians is the Bible. There are 1.3 billion Muslims in Sudan, and two billion Christians in Sudan. Both of the religions are monotheistic, which means that they believe in one god only, not multiple gods. In conclusion, I think that Sudan’s religion is very informative and extraordinary!

  9. Animals, Plants,& Natural Resources Did you know that one of Sudan’s Animals, the African Bush Elephant is the largest living terrestrial animal in the world. They drink 50 gallons of water per day. Also, the sat snake is another amazing animal that lives in Sudan. Female cat snakes lay between 4-12 eggs per clutch. They feed on birds and small mammals. Overall, the Klipspringer is the most eccentric It is the smallest antelope liked animal in the world. It has horns that are 10-15 centimeters long. In conclusion, Sudan has many fascinating animals that will blow your mind.
