  1. Submission of projects in Oncourse Computer Science and Computer Information IUPUI

  2. Submission of inline text only Note the due date Click on the Assignments tool. Then click on the project.

  3. Review the following information Read all of the instructions before beginning.

  4. This is an example of a text-only, or inline submission, project. There is only ONE submission. Save your work frequently. When you are finished, click the Submit button.

  5. If you are done, click Yes, Continue. If you think you need to make any modifications, click, No, Return to Assignment.

  6. After submission, you will see this screen with this message. If you do not see this message, the submission was unsuccessful.

  7. The instructor will receive an email confirming the submission.

  8. Submission of project by attachment only Click on the project.

  9. Note the following information Click on the link provided for instructions. When you finished, click on Add Attachments.

  10. Locate where you have the file saved. If it is on your computer, flash drive, etc. click on Browse. If it is saved under the Resources tool in My Workspace, go there and click on Attach a Copy.

  11. Check Items to attach to ensure it is the correct file. If you have more than one file, click on Browse or go to My Workspace again and repeat the previous steps. If you are finished, click on Continue

  12. Check here for the file(s) you have attached. If you have the file(s) attached, click on submit.

  13. Click Yes or No.

  14. After submission, you will see this screen with this message. If you do not see this message, the submission was unsuccessful.

  16. A misconception in the submission of a project is using the Save and Exit button. The use of the Save and Exit button is fine. But be aware that a project or assignment will NOT be automatically submitted on the due date of a project or assignment. If you use the Save and Exit button, you MUST click the Submit button when you are finished.

  17. Note: saved as a draft NOT submitted successfully. If you see the message In Progress, you clicked on the Save and Exit button. This is will occur with the Text only, Text and Attachment, and Attachment only options. You mist click on Submit.

  18. If you use the Save and Exit, you MUST go back and click on the Submit button for the project to be submitted properly.

  19. If you use the Save and Exit, you MUST go back before the due date and click on the Submit button for the project to be submitted properly. If you access the assignment after the due date, this is what you will see. You will NOT be able to submit. The project will be late.

  20. The assignment will close while it is open if you are working on it. It will not allow you submit, telling you the assignment close. It as saved as a draft but NOT submitted to the instructor.
