  17. Journal- Adaptation I believe power point is a very useful tool when it comes to giving speeches. It is nice to have an outline to go off of. For a young student who has stage fright power point is very useful. However a student must be reminded that it is not a place to put every single thing they want to talk about. When there is to much writing on a power point people become distracted or bored with what they are seeing. The key is to have as few words as possible and more pictures. Pictures take the attention off the speaker which may help those who are frightened.
