  1. Communications Team Update Our purpose is to ensure that both inspiration and information are passed throughout the Finance and Administration Division. Our goal is to make sure that all employees receive consistent and accurate communication about the MUSC Excellence program and the division’s progress.

  3. An effective way to ensure that employees get key information about the organization and their department on a daily basis. Communication Board • A message board placed strategically in each department to communicate consistent messages and key information about MUSC Excellence to the staff.

  4. Pillars, F&A goals, Must Haves, and Nine Principals. Contain up-to-date information regarding MUSC Excellence, F&A goals, and departmental goals. Boards must: • Be placed in a highly visible location that is available to all staff. • Display the F&A Excellence banner, including the Five

  5. Post these: • Thank you notes from customers • Wins • Staff awards • Staff photos • New staff member welcomes • Town Hall notices • Training information • Monthly financial reports

  7. Maintain the board, keeping all information current and removing outdated items. Communicate with department managers and the Communications Team regarding issues or concerns about the board. Board Managers will: • Post Excellence related information, including wins, departmental status reports, tools and tips from the Excellence website, etc.

  8. Audits • Communications Team members will perform monthly audits of the boards. • Monthly audit results will be distributed to the Board Managers and their department managers.

  9. Board Managers will receive a copy of the board standards, job description, audit tool, F&A banner, and first set of documents to post on their boards. Board Party • Solomon Conference Room (T/G 125) • Wednesday, November 15, 11:30-1:30 • Thursday, November 16, 12:00-2:00
