Russia:Sakhalin 1 • Location: Off shore Sakhalin Island, Russia • Area: 1146 sq km (offshore) • Interest: ONGC-VL : 20% Exxon Mobil : 30% Soedco : 30% Rosneft : 20% • Comprises 3 discovered fields • Chayvo field under development • Production of gas and oilcommenced in October, 2005 • Peak Prodn. Expected in 2007. • Current production: Crude and condensate: 64,000 BPD Gas: 4.82 MMSMD Sakhalin 1

Syria: AFPC operated fields • Area: 1146 sq km (onland) • Acquired (along with OMEL) 17.5% interest in fields operated by AFPC. • SHELL : 65% • Bergomo : 35% (OVL+CNPC) • Acquisition is effective from 1st July, 2005 • Current production: 155,000 BPD (36 fields) • Plan: Infill drilling in prog. 50 wells(2006-07) EOR plan study.

Colombia: Middle Magdalena Valley properties • Acquired from Omimex de Colombia through Mansarovar Energy Colombia Limited (MECL) on 20th September, 2006 with an effective date of 31st March, 2006. • MECL owned 50:50 by OVL and SIPC • Velasquez is owned 100% by MECL. All other fields are owned 50% by MECL and the other 50 % is held by Ecopetrol, the National Oil Company of Colombia. • Current gross production 20,000 bpd. • Expected to increase to 65,000 bpd. • Plan: Presently 3 rigs in operation. 5 more rigs planned in 2007. < 200 wells are planned to be drilled.
