USS NEW YORK

The USS New York, launched on March 1, 2008, is a testament to American resilience, constructed from 7 tons of steel salvaged from the World Trade Center after the 9/11 attacks. Comprising a dedicated crew of 360 men and 700 Marines, this powerful vessel can reach speeds of 22 knots (41 km/h). Built between 2003 and 2008, the USS New York showcases both the strength of its construction and the indomitable spirit of those who serve. The steel from the World Trade Center is prominently displayed aboard as a memorial to resilience.
