  2. PowerPoint Presentation • Organize a PowerPoint presentation that summarizes The Cay. Include pictures, major events, climax, conflict, setting, complications, and resolution.

  3. Video • Organize a talk show with several of your classmates. You will need a host, guests, and an audience. The guests should be characters from The Cay. The host should question them about events from the book. Plan carefully, rehearse, and present your show to the class.

  4. Personal Journal • Pretend you are in Phillip’s shoes. Write 10 journal entries that he might have made describing his experiences. This will be written in first person.
