Metaldyne report said “ The valve bore showed no score marks, but there was some fretting present consistent with the fretting seen on the Flow Control Valve ”. What is it? Casting defect?. Is rough machined surface than old module ?. Figure 19.

  2. Figure 19 Metaldyne report said “The only wear observed on the Flow Control Valve (FCV) was the black markings which have been seen on other high speed durability tests. Figures 19 and 20 show close ups of the valve wear on the spring and plug end of the valve.
