  3. RRA GIZ • RRA GIZ – Association of Regional Development Agencies was established on June 2002 • to ensure good flow of information • to exchange experiences • to gain power in determining development priorities and negotiating them

  4. DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES Fields of work of Regional development agencies is based on three pillars: • development of human potentials • development of entrepreneurship and adjustment of economic structure • respectful attitude to environment and rational use of space

  5. SECOND PILLAR Development of entrepreneurship and adjustment of economic structure: • business zones and incubators • development and technology centres • business consultancy • guarante schemes and other financial initiatives

  6. GUARANTE SCHEMES Realization in 2009: • Slovenska izvozna in razvojna banka (SID bank) 16 mio € • Slovenski podjetniški sklad (Slovene Enterprise Fund) 83 mio € • Regional guarante schemes 2,1 mio €
