Cargo Lift

Cargo lifts are large service lifts meant to carry goods with or without passengers. Dumbwaiters are small service lifts which are meant to carry only goods up to 300kg loads. Cargo lifts have a highly practical use in industrial and services sectors such as for the transport of hospital beds, supermarket trolleys, palletised loads, etc. The addition of such systems to developments such as hospitals, libraries, restaurants, hotels and other projects, completely change the dynamics of operations. They save costs and time in delivering goods from one level to another; this in-turns, enables you to operate more efficiently. <br>

  1. Lifting Straps Make Moving Large Cargo Easy Lifting straps are used worldwide in the shipping world, but do you know why? These large, tough pieces of nylon are what hoist large loads of cargo into the air to move it from the dock onto the boat, or vice versa. And best of all, it doesn't matter how big or heavy the cargo is (well, OK, you do need to make sure that you know the weight capacity of that particular strap prior to using it to ensure everyone's safety, but I'm sure you knew that already). What used to take men long hours or even days to load a boat with the proper supplies and its cargo, now only takes a few hours. So lifting straps not only make moving cargo safer, but they make it quicker as well. Large, strong men have been known to be able to carry a few hundred pounds, put two or three men together and that is a lot of strength, but nothing can be compared to lifting a few tons high into the air. Put simply, no man is a match for lifting straps. All you need is a fork-lift to efficiently stack the cargo on the strap, a crane to hoist the strap into the air and move it, and a few men to ensure that everything is secure prior to lifting (for safety reasons of course) and to direct the crane operator. That's it. This almost impossible task has been done in only a few hours or so, and no one got hurt. When you think about it, lifting straps are truly amazing. So the next time you're at a pier and you see a crane hoisting large cargo into the air to be put on a boat, remember that lifting straps are what is making all of this possible. They really are a useful and simple piece of equipment in the shipping world.
