Advise for Creating a Visual Resume • Think carefully about your Wording and Pictures be sure to: • Portray competence • Use “employment language” “Works well with diverse populations vs. “Is friendly” • Words should match the pictures, use quality photos • Ask yourself, “do you look competent? What does the picture portray? Is this the right background?” • Are you wearing the same clothes in multiple photos? • Before you use it with an employer, ask someone you know to critique it Marc Gold & Associates
