  20. PSAT • Free to all sophomores • Juniors who wish to take the test had to register by September 23 and must pay $14.00 by September 30. • Test will be given Wednesday, October 12, 2011. • Scores will be returned in January. • PSAT Interpretation/AP Night in January

  21. SAT, SAT Subject Tests and ACT SAT Three sections: Critical Reading, Math, Writing Register online at www.sat.collegeboard.com or pick up a paper registration form in the Main Office. Fee is $49.

  22. SAT, SAT Subject Tests and ACT SAT Subject Tests You may take up to three subject tests in one day. Some colleges require as many as three subject tests; other colleges just recommend subject tests. Basic registration fee is $22. Language tests with listening are $22; all other tests are $11 each.

Test Prep Options • Free test prep materials available in the Main Office • Free test prep available online • Durham Public Schools Community Education offers a six-session SAT prep class for $20 (for SSOE students); $20 for optional test prep books; 560-3816 or www.dpsnc.net • Several other private agencies offer test prep for fees ranging from $100 to over $1,000.
