What is a Training Package?何为培训包? • Definition定义: • A Training Package is a set of nationally endorsed standards and qualifications for recognising and assessing people’s skills. • 培训包是一系列获得国家级承认,可用于认证与评估劳动者能力的技能标准与准入资格。 • A Training Package describes the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively in the workplace. • 培训包对于知识与技能的描述,需按照工作场所的实际要求进行。 • It does not describe how an individual should be trained. • 培训包不对如何培训学员进行描述 • Teachers and trainers develop learning strategies – the how – • depending on learners’ needs, abilities and circumstances. • 教师与培训师根据学员的需求、能力与所处的环境自行确定培训方向。

Characteristics of Industry Training Packages行业培训包的特点 • Training Packages comprise nationally endorsed competency standards and qualifications for different occupations • 培训包包括不同行业的国家认可的能力标准与准入资格 • Must represent ‘state of the art’ skill formation strategies for industries • 必须代表各州行业领域内的统一技能水平 • They do not prescribe how qualifications should be delivered.
