  4. A Review of Graduation Requirements • Compulsory Courses • English 11 (full-year, 2 credits) • Foundations or Financial & Workplace 11 • Science • History 11 • Fine Arts & Life Development • English 12 • Total: 7 credits

  5. A Review of Graduation Requirements • Must earn 17 out of 20 credits • 7 credits are compulsory • Remaining 10 credits are elective • 5 credits must be Grade 12 courses You are responsible for insuring that you meet graduation requirements!

Graduation Requirement Check(page 37) • Check off compulsory course credits completed • Must complete Foundations or Financial & Workplace Math 11 • Check off number of elective credits completed. • Check how many credits at Grade 12 level • How many total credits? • You must have a English 11 and a minimum of 5 additional credits toward graduation to be placed in a Grade 12 HR next year.

Course Selection • Check off completed Grade 10 Program/ELPA • Fill in Grade 11 section • Grade 12 Line #1: Enter English 121/122/123 • Lines #2-10: • Enter any missing compulsory courses • Enter 9 elective course credits • Consider post-secondary admission, career and personal interests. • Verify 5 Grade 12 credits • Carefully consider and choose 2 additional courses that will be used if any of your chosen electives cannot be scheduled.

  16. Choosing Courses • Choose courses carefully. • Courses chosen by students. determine courses offered next year. • If you choose a course, you will be expected to remain in the course. • Once schedules have been created, course changes are not guaranteed.

  17. Course Fair-March 12 • This is your chance to find out about the courses that may be right for you. • Period 5 (30 minutes) • Come back with your parents • 4:00-6:00 PM

  18. March 17 Extended Homeroom • Return signed Course Selection Form • Transfer course selections to Scantron form using codes provided. Accuracy is important to avoid being scheduled into the wrong courses!
