  1. February 8th grade progress report A report of the progress that was made in February, by Ryan Renemans.

  2. I put the hard drive into the PC case this month. I had inserted a 2 terabyte hard drive into the case. This will provide the space for storing media files, documents, or anything else that I will need downloaded onto my pc. I also looked at some videos on YouTube that were informational. These videos told me how to put the hard drive in successfully. And what it did. I also learned about data transfer rates, and how they are very important when you are choosing a hard drive. These data transfer rates will determine how fast you can save, and access files on your hard drive. What I worked on this month

  3. This month I learned how to put a hard drive into a PC case. I also learned how to hook it up to the power supply, and the motherboard. After I had learned how to do these things, I looked up the transfer rate of data on different hard drives, so that I could buy one that best suited my needs. I had learned from my mentor and YouTube that the rate at which a hard drive transfers data is very important. It is almost as important as how much storage you have. What I learned this month

  4. Next month I will be finishing up my pc, and making sure everything works. If it does not work I will have to go back into the pc and make sure everything is put into place correctly. After I have got everything working I will install windows 8 onto it, and plug it in. Once I have it plugged in I will run some tests to figure out the overall performance, and decide whether I put together the PC efficiently, and well enough. My goals for next month

  5. Some more pictures of my progress The wiring from the motherboard to the hard drive The power supply being attached to the hard drive
