Partner with GOH to increase hospital-wide donation awareness Nurture a culture that supports donation Visit a top-producing donor hospital to gain insight to their strategies, protocols, and processes on how donation works for them Hospital tour, lunch and networking with teams from both RMH and Lutheran General Objectives

  4. Key Learning • GOH liaison is recognized as part of the “team”. • Develop standing orders for donation. • Create a process for collaboration during each case followed by a coordinated debriefing with GOH and hospital staff • Value of “Huddles”

  5. Key Learning • Importance of the role of the Chaplain and of Ethicist on team. • On-going education for all nursing, medical and chaplain staff. • Physician champion • Making donation a part of their everyday process and very much a part of their culture.
