  9. How Do We Improve

  10. Mindset…What do you see?

  11. What is Needed • Members…Have a real “want-to” • Organization…Club membership committee • Utilize a “system”…District Three Year Plan • Team effort…(invite, good program, Rotary packet, letter to join, follow-up) • Mentor & assignments for new members

  12. How to… • Members invite candidates to a meeting • Implement membership system actions • Provide a membership packet for visitors • Include a page to Highlight Your Club • Include an application to join • Board & members approve applicants ASAP • Send Letter to Join within 10-14 days • Mentor helps complete orientation checklist

  13. KEY ELEMENTS FOR SUCCESS • Think & be prepared for membership “opportunities.” • Invite a qualified candidate to a club meeting & follow-up. • Don’t try to explain the details about Rotary. • All members make visitors feel welcome. • Don’t let visitors leave without a membership packet. • Send a timely invitation letter to join within 10-14 days.

  14. Your Follow-Up

  15. Making It Happen • Take these ideas & tools back to your club • AG & club membership team get-together • Develop, communicate, train, and implement your club membership system
