Join me in this delightful journey as I share the process of creating Brian’s wedding cake. From the cooling stage to assembling the tiers, I walk you through the steps of icing, decorating, and ensuring everything is perfect for the big day. The carefully crafted tiers are designed not just for beauty but also to withstand the journey to the church. Plus, discover my creative way to handle leftover cake with delicious crumble cookies and chocolate-covered sugar bombs. It was a joy to assemble, and I can't wait to share more next time!

Sir Cakes-a-lot Brian’s Wedding Cake
Staging area – this is where the cakes come to cool and I put the initial layer of icing in between the cakes.
Assembly area – in this area I generally assemble the cakes and maybe do a bit of light decorating. Mostly, just touch-up work is done here.
Here is the second tier ready to be marked… notice in the background that there are two top layers for the cake… redundancy and disaster recovery isn’t just for computers. (A lot can happen on the way to the church…)
Presto! The cake is complete and ready for transport to the church.
The End This was fun, next time I will try and remember to take more photos. All that’s left now is the making the “leftover cake crumble-cookies” and the Chocolate-covered sugar bombs. (The things I have to do to get rid of leftover cake and icing…)
