  5. Tutoring Schedule • Availability and purpose • NOTE: If your child plans to attend morning tutoring, he/she must get a pass from me the day before to be admitted to the academic area.

  6. Grades • Marking periods every six weeks: • 1st six weeks = 26.67% • 2nd six weeks = 26.67% • 3rd six weeks = 26.67% • Final Exam = 20% • Grading scale: • 90-100% = A • 80-89% = B • 75-79% = C • 70-74% = D • 69% or lower = F

Grading Policy Level Courses Formative/Daily Grades = 40% Summative/Test Grades = 60% Pre AP Courses Formative/Daily Grades = 30% Summative/Test Grades = 70% Advanced Placement Courses Formative/Daily Grades = 25% Summative/Test Grades = 75% Check your child’s grades online at: https://eshac.humble.k12.tx.us/homeaccess/

Grading Policy Reassessment • Reassessment is mandatory for summative tests with an class average of less than 70. • A student has the opportunity to reassess after a summative test for any reason with the following parameters: • Only 1 opportunity to reassess each test. • Must be within 1 week of the assessment being returned to the student • Must make test corrections • Will be offered before or afterschool and will be set by the teacher
