Software News • April 1st - Implemented TazCloud Features & Feature Spotlight • The new features sections provide the top, most beneficial features in the system to help aid in your background screening process • Every Monday we will announce and release a spotlight of the week • TazWorks.com > Taz Support > What can I find in Taz Support • TazSupport.com > Feature Spotlight

  4. Software News Spotlight • CIV (Consent Identity Verification) - April 1st  • Adds an additional security layer when confirming the consumer’s identity through QuickApp. • Enabled within the client product configurations

  5. Software News • April 4th - Column View Customized Your Way • Control the columns in tables within TazCloud • Add what column headers you want displayed by selecting the eye

  6. Software News • April 5th - Enhanced permissions for Required Fields and Report Layout • Manage Report Layout and the Manage Required Fields were not associated to a permission. We have now assigned the 'View Products' and 'Manage Products' permission

Software News Spotlight •  Criminal Monitoring – April 8th • Gives users the ability to track changes or new records on an applicant for a year after the initial background check is placed • Enable within the product and order the search through BGC. Once the search is completed, monitoring can be added.

  8. Software News • April 10th - Scorecard Pro Bankruptcy Open Option • This allows users to properly handle bankruptcies that currently have an open status.

  9. Software News • April 12th - Calendar View within Software News for a more visual at-a-glance look of all the releases & announcements

  10. Software News • April 12th - Update on NY OCA fee • The NY OCA fee increased from $65 to $95 • This went into effect on April 13th • Make sure all charge tables are updated

  11. Software News Spotlight • Global Security Watch List – April 15th • Identifies foreign terrorist organizations, terrorists on the watch list and any individual or organization that is on watch status by the U.S. and international government agencies

Software News • April 16th - Integration Support Protocol • To maximize efficiency and quicker turn-around times with technical issues related to integrations, we have re-structured how we will field incoming requests. Integrations can be reached through email and in the near future, a scheduling tool will be implemented

  14. Software News • April 19th - Updated User Interface for Manage Required Fields • All parts of InstaScreen are going into react over time, this was the manage required fields section under the Products section of the Admin tab

Software News Spotlight • Integrations – April 22nd • Software and data integrations are an essential key to success with today’s CRAs. Integrations will become more critical for your business over time. Software News • April 22nd - XML Orders Using a Jurisdictional Tag • The tag was creating inconsistencies with County Criminal searches and dropping the passing jurisdiction and only using applicant data.  • Its fixed and now using the applicant provided data as well as the passing jurisidictions when using an XML order

  17. Software News • April 23rd - Client 'Needs Decision' Now Available • When a client goes to their Completed Reports, they can now filter the reports that still 'need decision' • Users will need the "Allow User to Process" permission in order to set a decision

Software News • April 26th – QuickApp Order and Charging the Client • The products set to “Process Instantly” and “Charge Order To” are set to “Client” and if the billing configurations are set to "Charge Alternate Card When Ordering" with a guideline of "Require Alternate Card” the charge will occur at the time of order.  • If the card fails, it will default it to the applicant ready queue with a report note that says "Sent to applicant ready queue because charging to the client card failed." If the charge is successful it will process instantly, and the credit card will be charged. 

  19. Software News Spotlight • Trade House Data Filter – April 29th •  A robust feature to decide how results are filtered and returned. They can be set up for a broader scope to return more leads or a narrower scope to return fewer leads

  20. Software News • Scorecard Pro Mortgage Account Enhancement • Users can enable “If account was settled for less” and set the scoring option with the ability to add a custom message. This allows you a more precise way to score the mortgage accounts that are returned on a credit report if it is settled for less than the amount.

  21. Press Releases • Background Connect  • Advanced development tool that allows integrators to seamlessly share background reports while using a KBA configuration. This powerful tool not only saves integrators time and money, but also allows for independent growth so they can focus on other areas of their business
