Adolescent and School Health • Adolescent and School Health Programs vision is that Oregon is the very best place for youth to learn, grow and thrive. Local Public Health Authorities and Tribal Health Authorities help us make this vision a reality. Thank you! • Adolescence – Ages 10 – 24. • School-aged youth – K-12. • Our state priorities • Increase the number of youth receiving an annual Adolescent Well-Care Visit. • Update School-Based Health Center (SBHC) Certification Standards. • Improve youth sexual health outcomes. • Strengthen school nursing throughout the state. • Assure youth have access to confidential services.
Reproductive Health • Vision: All individuals have “access to” the knowledge and resources they need and are empowered to realize their sexual and reproductive health goals and achieve their full potential
How do we do this? • In collaboration with diverse communities and partners – the RH program is committed to: How Oregon Fixed Birth Control Two new laws give Oregon women more flexibility and independence than any other state in the country.
How can the RH program support your work? • Triennial Reviews • Quality Assurance • Reproductive Health Learning Collaborative • Mini-grants • Reproductive Health Coordinators Meeting • Site visits • Webinars • Data Sheets • How can we do a better job collaborating?
