Digital & Traditional Striking the balance between new & old; innovation & convention The audiences we are seeking to reach are changing and, therefore, the means of educating them must change, as well AMCA will pursue a multi-faceted path to inform, educate, and entertain our members and the industries in which they are active using a mix of digital and traditional educational vehicles and venues.

What is certification? What/why do you specify? How do you specify? Design and certification considerations System effect FEI and Fan Sizing Fire and smoke damper considerations

Outreach process STEP #01 • Identify the key firms, individuals, or universities in a region or specialty • Work with members to make introductions or identify key POCs • AMCA staff introduces association and gains interest in topics to present • Schedule time and topic(s) for professional lunch and learn

STEP #02 • Staff requests Firm’s current spec guidelines from firm for AMCA to research and review • AMCA provides updated standards and specification verbiage STEP #03 • Staff prepares presentational material ensuring unbiased, non-brand forward material • Staff solicits member presenters from AMCA Distinguished Speakers Database

  22. STEP #04 • Presentation(s) delivered • Attendance (CE) certificates presented • Reviewed and annotated specification returned to Firm AMCA Education Delivered!
