Implications for the already existing on-line software: • Some months (2-3?) of work to port the existing software • to XDAQV3 + install new version of Linux (SLC) on the • computers. • 2. RCMSV2 learning/implementation period (2-3? weeks) • 3. Installation of DAQkit V3: • (XDAQ Core) • FEDkit application & FEDDriver • EVB • HAL • SBS driver • etc. • 4. DCC driver (can be a guide line for the others) • Crate Configuration (HAL plug-and-play) • Crate State Machine • Generic Configurator • Data Base structure Completely reusable by the CCS, TCC and SRP, no need for more development, I take care of the integration of those devices in the already existing software. Certificate of guarantee: This software has been tested in the Test Beam and will be used in 867 and Magnet Test 4.
