God calls Moses to Deliver His people Exodus 3:1-8 1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up… 4 … God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am." 5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."

I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. 8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians…

Death of FirstbornBlood applied Exodus 12:12-13 12 "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn--both men and animals--and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. 3 Pharaoh will think, 'The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert… So the Israelites did this.   19. Looking back into the “gap” where God came between the Israelites & the Egyptians… At the Red Sea crossing location!

  20. God’s Land bridge across the Red Sea! 8 miles across, ½ mile wide, 33m deep (300-500m)

  21. Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

  22. Scattered “junk yard” on the sandy bottom… • 90 degree angles, circular formations, features of human engineering… axles, hubs, wheels, straight shafts… • Coral shapes matching the dimensions from chariots in Egyptian museums • Fragments of metal… 600 Egyptian chariots!

  24. Pillar marker with inscriptions found 1985… erected by King Solomon both sides (Saudi Gov’t has since removed their pillarat the crossing point) “HIS-story, you can choose to either ignore it or learn from it”
