  11. eCareers External • Starts at the local office • Determine staffing needs and makes request based on those needs • Everybody in this room needs access to webCOINS

  12. eCareers External • Complete the “eCareer Job Posting Request – Bargaining” External in order to hire.

  13. District Complement Coordinator • For non-career positions, receives all requests. • Verifies vacancy and job number. • Approves request and forwards the request to Jack Murphy

  14. District Complement Coordinator • PM needs to verify information in webCOINS • Notify HRSSC of resignations or terminations. • Check periodically to keep cleaned of actual staffing on rolls.

  15. District Complement Coordinator • To request position numbers you need to complete a RAR-100 • Must send RAR-100 to District Complement Coordinator for review. • I will forward to the appropriate HRSSC

  16. District Complement Coordinator • Verify the position is vacant and that you don’t already have an RCA or TRC assigned to the same route. • Once a position number is requested for an office by route do not assign to someone else on a different route or to move someone to the route.

  17. District Complement Coordinator For career positions, receives “Request to Fill” form Verifies vacancy Requests Committee Approval Sends request to Area Complement Committee

  18. District Complement Coordinator Receives Area approval Requests Job Numbers from HRSSC, if needed Signs off request to Jack Murphy if eCareer. If eReassign to Pat Bradshaw

  19. District Complement Coordinator • Internal Posting – Vacancy to post • Complete “Request to Post” form • Email to District Complement Coordinator along with copy of letter to union and: • If clerk, copy Mike Noll for CSV • If Carrier, copy Andre Small for route review

  20. District Complement Coordinator • To Complement Committee for approval • Email back to you with approval or revert • Review carefully – we do not want “no Bidder” on positions that result in residuals. • Jack’s emails

  21. HR Generalist (Principal) • Jack Murphy

  22. HR Generalist (Principal) • Creates requisition to be posted online • Requests background and driving checks • Creates Hiring Lists and inputs Interview results • Schedules applicants for Drug tests and Initial Road Tests • Forwards Suitability file to Pat Bradshaw

  25. HR Generalist (Principal) Creates Requisition, Day 1 The next day, posting opens online for 15 days Posting closes and is now available for review May take up to 3 weeks

  27. HR Generalist (Principal) Application Reviews - create spreadsheet for applicants by office Email requests to applicants for more information on work or military service history

  28. HR Generalist (Principal) Make notes on spreadsheet, request OPF, conviction, etc Request background checks and driving records from GiS Takes 1 week from request
