BACKGROUND: ‘E-learning on Ethics and Integrity’ is a strategy adopted by the ACC in collaboration with the RCSC and the RIM to improve civil servant’s awareness on the public sector’s values and thereby improving the ethical performance of the public sector. AND This is in keeping with the resolution of the 2nd session of the 1st Parliament, which recommended the RCSC to operationalize Civil Service Code of Conduct and Ethics. This eLearning course will complement RCSC in operationalzing the Civil Service Code of Conduct and Ethics. The course is mandatory for all civil servants and therefore all must register and complete the course. Ethics and Integrity Test, 2014 HRD, MoEA July 15, 2014

  4. Implementation history August 2012 1st Batch of 352 employee, out of 613 employee in the ministry have completed the course. February 2013 RCSC’s notification to all Ministries to initiate to undertake the course to the remaining employees July 2014 2nd Batch of 147 employees registered for the course. Objective of E & I e-Learning • It is an effort towards building an awakened citizenry which upholds ethics, integrity, honesty, justice and rule of law. • It is an extremely important initiative towards promoting clean civil service and society. • It is to foster ethical culture and behavioral change in the public service.   8. Time limit for test Ethics and Integrity Test, 2014 HRD, MoEA July 15, 2014 The average time for undergoing the individual component of this course is 2.5 hours if the course is taken at one go. Since Group assignment may take some more time for coordinating mutually agreeable date and time for discussion amongst the Group members, the maximum timeframe for the complete course is 2 weeks.
