The Qualification Framework for Higher Education in Geology, known as EuroAges, was developed under the Life Long Learning Programme from January 2009 to January 2011. Its main objectives were to enhance the transparency of Earth Sciences qualifications across Europe and improve academic and professional recognition. By establishing a standardized framework, EuroAges aims to facilitate the mobility of students and professionals, ensuring that qualifications are comparable across different countries and institutions, thus fostering a more integrated European education landscape.
