Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TXIntroduction • In principle, vis-à-vis actuators of Hager tebis, each of the 8 switching groups of the central apartment unit behaves like an individual transmitter. • Each of the switching groups of the central apartment unit can control “any number“ of actuators. Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TXIntroduction • Commissioning • Download the latest software from the Internet and have the TX100 configurator at hand • Define the switching groups on the central apartment unit • Carry out commissioning with the TX100 configurator • Switch off the TX100 and place the memory card in the archive

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Software Update TX100 • Formatting the memory card • Start the TX100, then press the button. • > Instal. management > Smartcard > Erase > Yes • Copy the newest software to the Smartcard • After having downloaded the newest software from the Hager homepage to your PC, use the Smartcard reader to copy the data to the memory card. Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Software Update TX100 • c) Uploading • Insert the memory card into the TX100 and switch the unit on. • Confirm the update on the TX100 with “Yes“. • After the update, remove the memory card from the TX100. • Press the Confirmation button => TX100 makes a reset • After display of the start menu, switch the TX100 off. • d) Providing the memory card • Insert the memory card into the TX100. A new memory card should be used and filed for every new project (=> project changes). • => TX100 is ready for use with the latest software

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Basic Configuration QAX910 • Prerequisites • Before starting commissioning, the following points must be observed: • The central apartment unit is correctly installed and wired and connected to AC 230 V • The light and blind actuators are correctly installed and wired and connected to AC 230 V

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Basic Configuration QAX910 Switching groups In contrast to heating, where all heating components acting in a room can also be assigned to the room, the individual switching groups cannot be assigned to a specific room. A maximum of 8 switching groups can be configured. Switching groups 1…4 can be operated via the 4 pairs of universal buttons on the central apartment unit. Manual triggering of switching groups 5…8 is only possible via the respective operating lines on the central apartment unit. 1A 3A 1B 3B 2A 4A 2B 4B

Press Esc to quit the menu and then ok to confirm the entry.

GAMMA wave products support scene numbers 1…16.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Basic Configuration QAX910 Switching and dimming When commissioning the system, the switch and dim actuators are assigned to one or several switching groups. Note:A switching group can be assigned any number of switch and dim actuators. In place of, or together with RF actuators, switch and dim actuators can also be connected via KNX-TP1 (S-mode). Also, an actuator can simultaneously be assigned to several switching groups plus the light state display. Switching group A Switching group B KNX TP1

Note:A switching group can be assigned any number of blind actuators. In place of, or together with RF actuators, blind actuators can also be connected via KNX-TP1 (S-mode). Also, a blind actuator can simultaneously be assigned to several switching groups. Switching group C Switching group A KNX TP1 Switching group B

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Basic Configuration QAX910 Scene If a switching group shall act simultaneously on switch, dim and blind actuators, the function to be selected when commissioning the system is Scene. Note:A switching group that uses the Scene function contains 2 scenes (scene A and scene B). These 2 scenes act on all actuators assigned to the switching group. Scene B Scene A

At the same time, a status change of a switching group can be passed on to a third-party device via S-mode (KNX TP1) (output QAX910). KNX TP1

But this applies only to switching groups 1…4 => universal buttons. 1A 3A 1B 3B 2A 4A 2B 4B

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Basic Configuration QAX910 • Display of light state • Main menu > Commissioning > Basic configuration > Light state > Lamp x > . . . • Name of lamp • Function • The central apartment unit can display the light state of 4 selected lamps. Each of the 4 lamps can be assigned a name, which will appear on the info page. • Then, the configured lamp will be activated under “Function“. • Note: • For display of the light state, switch or dim actuators (max. 1) must be used, which communicate with the central apartment unit viaS-mode KNX TP1.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 • Configuration takes place in 3 modes: • Operating mode, display button Num • Assign numbers to the inputs • Assign a function to one of the inputs • Cancel an input including the function • Operating mode, display button Prog • Assign numbers to the inputs • Detect the outputs • Make the connections • Cancel the connections • Display the connections made • Operating mode, display button Visu • Display all connections of the plant

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Starting up the TX100 When starting up the TX100 cofigurator, the plant information held on the memory card is displayed. • The display shows: • The plant‘s name • The last change • The number of products installed If no coupleris used, choose “NO“ to continue. Note: For a new project, the memory card should be changed or deleted.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Deleting / copying the Smartcard If a former project is still on the memory card, the card‘s content must be deleted (exception: plant extensions). Press button > Instal. management > Smartcard > . . . Erase the card: Press the Yes button. Copying the card: Insert the original card and save the data on a second card. The Smartcard can also be copied on the PC by means of the Smartcard reader.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Reading in and numbering the outputs In order to be able to make connections, the configuratormust identify the inputs and outputs of the plant. Select operating mode “Prog“. • All installed bidirectional products (outputs) are read in • Automatic assignment of numbers to all outputs Number of products found in the plant Numbering of outputs Note: This process must be executed before numbering the inputs!

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 • Reading in and numbering the outputs • When reading in the outputs, following must be noted: • None of the output devices (wireless or hard-wired) must be connected to power • Set the TX100 to “Prog“ mode • Start the automatic output search with an extended press on button • Connect the first device and wait until the TX100 has identified it • Connect the second device and wait until the TX100 has identified it • . . . 4 outputs identified thus far 4 Alternatively, a simultaneous search for all devices can be made (all connected to AC 230 V).

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Numbering an input and assigning a function (bidirectional) To be able to number the inputs, the plant must have been scanned (refer to the previous page). Select operating mode “Num“. When pressing an input, the TX100 automatically assigns a number to the input. By pressing and , the input can be assigned a function, to be confirmed with . Choose a function Select the required function

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 • Assigning the central apartment unit • On the central apartment unit, make the following setting: • Main menu > Commissioning > RF connections > Hager Tebis > Switching groups > . . . • On the TX100, select operating mode “Num“. • Then, the connection can be started: • Select the switching group • On the central apartment unit, press the ok button • The TX100 displays the switching group (number and function). • Successful numbering is indicated by a bleep Stay on the “Hager tebis“ menue as long as the commissioning with the TX100 is running

  31. Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Numbering an input and assigning a function (unidirectional) To be able to number the inputs, the plant must have been scanned. Select operating mode “Num“. Press the unidirectional input and place the TX100 next to it. Keep the button depressed and trigger “Call“ on the display. The successful search is indicated by an acoustic signal. The TX100 assigns automatically a number to the input. By pressing and , the input can be assigned a function, to be confirmed with . Choose a function Select the required function

Select operating mode “Prog“. Select the input to be connected and press the buttons on the left or press the pushbutton that shall be connected. => number and function will be displayed.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Setting up a simple connection When selecting the respective output, 3 options are available: • Select the output to be connected ( buttons on the right), • if known • Press briefly button . • The output shown on the display (25) will be switched. • Another press on the button switches the output off again. • => buttons can be used to search for the output • Press the manual operating button on the required device • (if present). The number and function will be displayed

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Setting up a simple connection After the required inputs and outputs have been defined, the connection can be triggered: Extended press on button . => connection will be made and saved on the memory card in the TX100 A successful connection will be indicated.

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 • Setting up a multiple connection • The system facilitates the connection of one input to several outputs. • Select the input • Select the first output • Prepare the connection => short press on button • Select the second output • Prepare the connection => short press on button • . . . • When all connections have been prepared, the confirmation can be made by an extended press on button

Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Displaying the connections Select operating mode “Visu“. • Via the inputs • Select the number or press the input button (e.g. pushbutton) • Using buttons on the right, all connected outputs can be viewed. • Via the outputs • Select the number or press the output button (if present) • Using buttons on the left, all connected inputs can be viewed.

  39. Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Configuration TX100 Canceling a connection Select operating mode “Prog“. Extended press onbutton. To cancel a multiple connection, the connections for each individual output must be canceled.

  40. Commissioning Lights & Blinds, Hager tebis TX Filing Administering the memory card After all connections have been made, the inserted memory card shall be saved. If, at a later point in time, changes to the plant are required, they can be made with no major effort, but the data can also be saved on a PC. If the memory card has been lost, a Hager service engineer must be called in.
