Affect on his life: • Eats everything on he’s plate • Belongs to: Edmond exchange club • Gives to many charities • Millionaires club. • $1 for the beggars on the corners.
To save Money • They made there own fun. • Cardboard soles. • Ate lots of cabbage and cube steaks.
Government involvement • New Deal: • CCC: gave jobs to youth • WPA: Build bridges and parks • Federal Theater project: made the arts national, and more a part of people’s lives.
Success • Lots of helpful information and photos • Video taped • Found topic to be interesting.
Problems • Difficult Hearing • Book had little to no info about regular families and kids
What I learned that was surprising • Car with a lifetime battery. • A bike for $5 • Good memory
