  2. Original The original was the first model cub cadet made in 1961 it came out with a 7 horse kohler k-161 it started a long line of cub cadets its production was ended in 1963.

  3. 70 and 100 The 70 and 100 were built the same except the engine sizes were different the 70 had a 7 horse kohler k-161 and the 100 had a 10 horse kohler k-241 there production was ended in 1965.

  4. 71,102,122,and 123 The 71,102,122,123 came out in 1965 the 71 had a 7 horse kohler k-161 the 102 had a 10 horse kohler k-241 the 122 had a twelve horse kohler k-301 the 123 was the same as the 122 except it was a hydro this was cub cadets first hydro model the 71, 102,122,123 all look the same there production was ended in November of 1967.

  5. 72,104,105,124,and 125 The 72,104,105,124,and 125 started in November of 1967 the 72 had a 7 horse kohler k-162 the 104 had a 10 horse kohler k-241 the 105 was a hydro version of the 104 the 124 had a 12 horse kohler k-301 the 125 was a hydro version of the 124.

  6. 73,106,107,126,127,and 147 The 73 had a 7 horse kohler k-161 the 106 had a 10 horse kohler k-241 the 107 was a hydro version of the 106 the 126 had a 12 horse kohler k-301 the 127 was a hydro version of the 127 the 147 was a hydro the had a 14 horse kohler k-321 its production went from November of 1969 to August of 1971 the rest of the models where made from August of 1969 to August of 1981.

  7. Wide frames The wide frames replaced the narrow frames cub cadet used this frame until they sold out to mtd. The models were the 86,108,109,128,129,149,169 the 86 had a 8 horse kohler k-181 the 128 had a 12 horse kohler k-301 the 129 was a hydro version of the 128 the 149 was a hydro that had a 14 horse kohler k-321 the 169 was a hydro that had a 16 horse kohler k-341 it is acknowledged by many as the best cub ever made these were made from September of 1971 to October of 74.

  8. Quietlines The quietline series was cub cadets longest running production the 800 had a 8 horse kohler k-181 due to its unpopularity its production lasted from October of 74 to December of 75 the 1000 had a 10 horse kohler k-241 the 1100 had a 11 horse Briggs and Stratton the 1200 had a kohler 12 horse k-301 the 1250 was a hydro version of the 1200 the 1400 had a 14 horse kohler k-321 the 1450 was a hydro version of the 1400 the 1650 was a hydro that had a 16 horse kohler k-341 the quietline production lasted from October of 74 to June of 1980.

  9. 82 series The,482,582,682,782,and 982 the 482 582 682 782 all used kohler engins the 982 used a onan the 482 had a 11 horse briggs the 582 had a 16 horse briggs engin the 682 the 782 had a 17 horse kohler engin the only difference was that the 782 had a hydro lift both of these models were hydro. This was the last series cub cadet made its production lasted from July of 1980 to June of 1981
