Roderigo is infatuated with Desdemona, believing he would be the ideal suitor, while Iago harbors deep resentment toward Othello, seeking to manipulate others for personal gain. Desdemona's father, Brabanzio, disapproves of Othello, while Othello himself is a noble warrior deeply in love with Desdemona. Cassio, Othello's friend, faces disgrace due to deception.
