Ensuring access for all educators to high quality professional development that results in improved student learning. • Vision: Statewide Professional Development Center Network • 10 Centers --94% of NH school districts within a 30-mile radius of at least 1 professional development center • The remaining 6% (located in the northern portion of the state) would be within a 50 mile radius of the nearest professional development center

Ensuring access for all educators to high quality professional development that results in improved student learning. • Implementation Plan? • Initiate through the NH DOE Technology Plan • July 1, 2003--Up to 4 Centers • July 1, 2004--Up to 7 Centers • July 1, 2005--Up to 10 Centers • Funding for Professional Development • Federal and state grants & entitlements • Grants from private foundations • Local professional development funds (NCLB, IDEA, etc) • Funding for State PD Coordinator • Addition to DOE Budget--Estimated $150,000 salary & benefits
