Long ago, in the land of Egypt…………………………. There lived a sandal maker named Nubi. He was the best sandal maker in Egypt!. One night the Pharaoh walked in.Nubi’s mouth dropped wide open. The Pharaoh said he was getting married to a lovely lady named Tanafriti .

There lived a sandal maker named Nubi. He was the best sandal maker in Egypt!
One night the Pharaoh walked in.Nubi’s mouth dropped wide open.
The Pharaoh said he was getting married to a lovely lady named Tanafriti.
The Pharaoh needed 500 pairs of papyrus for the celebration. The Pharaoh said if Nubi made 500 pairs of sandals, he could come.
Nubi got right to work. He made 50 pairs of sandals, then he ran out of papyrus.
That night,Nubi wished that someone or something would help him make his sandals. Then something magical happened. The ancient Egyptian god Isis came to the sandal store and dropped off mummies.
One mummy made 134 sandals. Another made 123.
The last one made 43 sandals.
Nubi was delighted when he saw 300 papyrus sandals Downstairs.
That day,Nubi went to town and bought some papyrus.
Nubi got right to work. He made 100 pairs of papyrus sandals.
Then the pharaoh walked in and said he needed the rest of the sandals by tommorow.The pharaoh took the 400 sandals and left.Nubi wished and wished and wished and wished that whatever helped him before would help him again.
That night, the mummies came and made 100 papyrus sandals!
Nubi was so HAPPY when he saw the rest of the sandals FINISHED!
That day, Nubi went and bought 1 pound of papyrus. But why? He needs to make himself a pair.
Nubi went to the celebration happily. And will never forget whatever helped him to make all of those sandals. Then Nubi made lots of money and became famous. AndNubi lived Happily Ever After.
