In this session, we will cover essential topics including comments on the exam, mid-quarter feedback, and any questions about the material. We will discuss the Buxton textbook as a resource for homework and examine imaging techniques such as k-space and clinical ultrasound interpretation. Additionally, we will address problems related to the Gad questions and recommend simulating multiple concentrations for better understanding. Lastly, we will explore transcranial Doppler ultrasound, focusing on neonatal brain image acquisition techniques.

BIOE 220/rad 220 Review session 5 February 27, 2011
What We’ll Cover Today • Comments about the exam? • Thank you for the mid-quarter feedback • Any questions on any material? • Buxton for hw • Imaging k-space • Clinical ultrasound interpretation • Questions
Buxton Gad problems • If you don’t have the Buxton book, it’s available on reserve at Lane Library • Most of the Gad problems can be answered based on lecture notes, but you’ll need some extra understanding based on the book • For physics problem 9, I recommend simulating multiple concentrations (using matlab or excel) in order to find the inflection point
K-space and Fourier content • For some extra insight, let’s look at http://www.imaios.com/en/e-Courses/e-MRI/The-Physics-behind-it-all/Introduction together
