  1. (Matthew 12:31-37) "Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. "Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. "Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (NKJV)

  2. Unforgivable Idle Words (Mat. 12:31-37)

  3. (Matthew 12:30) "He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad. (NKJV)

  4. (Philippians 2:6) who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, (NKJV) Jesus = God

  5. (Ephesians 1:13) In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, (NKJV)

  6. (Matthew 12:36-37) "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." (NKJV)

(1 Timothy 4:1-2) Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, (NKJV) (1 Timothy 4:7) But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. (NKJV)

(1 Chronicles 28:9) "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. Idle Careless Words… Anger: (Prov. 15:1) Lies: (Prov. 19:5) Deceitful Words: (1 Pet. 3:10) Speaking Evil of Others: (Jude 8; Mt. 5:21-22) Flattering Words: (Rom. 16:18) Rash Oaths: (Mat. 5:33-37) Corrupt Words: (Eph. 5:29) • Gossip: (Prov. 16:28) • Words Used Carelessly: (Pr. 10:19; Jas. 1:26) • Words Spoken Hastily: (Pr. 29:20) • Dirty Jokes/Filthy Language: (Eph. 5:4) • Lord’s name in vain (Ex. 20:7) • Name of Jesus to be honored (Ph. 2:9-11)

  17. (Romans 10:10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (NKJV)
